South Goa is famous for its serenity and isolated beaches. If you are tired from your hectic city schedule and want to relax in peace, away from people then yesss South Goa has so much to offer! 

And these three beaches will keep your heart forever. They all are located in Canacona. 




  1. Palolem Beach- Whether it’s morning time or evening time the beach is fantastic. You can walk west on the beach and reach the corner where the beach looks like a lake. There are boats and localities. You can distinctly hear birds chirping which is so calming. 

 

In the evening, the beauty of this beach is exceptional. The sun sets between the two hills. The whole sky turns into a color palette of nature. The sunrays give stunning reflection in water. You can chase the sunset and feel the calmness. Go here with your partner or family or friends you will definitely experience inner peace. 

After watching the sunset you can have a candle light dinner on the beach, making it a perfect night.





  1. Galgibaga Beach- The most cleanest and isolated beach. Also home for Olive turtles nesting. The water looks greenish blue. The view is amazing. You will find a few couples and 1-2 families only on this beach. 


The experience is so wholesome and you’ll think this is your private beach. Just be careful while walking!



 

  1. Patnem Beach- This is also a solitary beach located only 2.5 Kms away from Palolem Beach. The water is perfect for swimming. And the shacks offer decent food. A place where you can encounter lots of foreigners. This beach is also famous for seafood. 

You can book huts to stay and enjoy every time of the day.


BONUS POINT

There is a flea market outside Patnem beach where you can shop for your loved ones. This include- jute bags, beautifully handcrafted dream catchers, goa clothes and what not. Don’t forget to bargain;)
